BioI don't know what to say...I'm a Catholic Christian, having converted in 1997 from a fundamentalist Baptist background. (Previously, I had attended Calvary Baptist Church in Belleville, Illinois, a church to which I am very grateful and retain a very high respect for). I love reading and studying the holy Scriptures, as well as other Christian books. And I love baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Basically, the purpose of this LJ is, to quote the words of Mark Shea:
So That No Thought of Mine, No Matter How Stupid, Should Ever Go Unpublished Again!
Warning: Expect quite a few quotes, especially by G.K. Chesterton.
(In fact, I am using this LJ as a blog dedicated to Chesterton as well as using it for other types of posts. It's just easier to use one LJ instead of two. So do not be surprised to see a lot of Chesterton related posts, though I will have other types of posts as well).
And speaking of the prophet Chesterton, in 1925 he predicted LiveJournal! :-)
This paper exists to insist on the rights of man; on possessions that are of much more political importance than the principle of one man one vote. I am in favour of one man one house, one man one field; nay I have even advanced the paradox of one man one wife. But I am almost tempted to add the more ideal fancy of one man one magazine ... to say that every citizen ought to have a weekly paper of this sort to splash about in ... this kind of scrap book to keep him quiet.
